Canon RAW digital image format
A CR2 format is a raw proprietary image format (version 2), coming out of Canon digital cameras. It is high quality and uncompressed format. CR2 images contain raw data from the digital camera's matrix, so you can convert it to other formats with a variety of additional options.
Canon cameras employ the CR2 file format. The CR2 file format saves all of the data collected by the camera's sensor, resulting in enormous files that are difficult to deal with.
You'll need to install an extension or utilize a raw image processing application or picture editing software to open CR2 files. Canon has developed its own software for editing and managing Canon picture files. CR2 files are supported by most third-party programmers, and all Adobe products, including Light room and Photoshop, can open them.
Any batch CR2-to-JPG converter will suffice. However, most online solutions do not offer batch converting, and even if they do, file size limits may apply. Because RAW files are large, converting CR2 to JPG online takes longer than using desktop software like Movie Video Converter. There are no file size limitations with this quick and effective converter.
This is due to the picture processing that every camera conducts automatically. It modifies image saturation, contrast, sharpness, and other parameters. RAW files don't have any further processing applied to them; they just reveal the image "as is", allowing you to improve it as you see fit.
